South East Indonesia consists of Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores, Sumba, and West Timor. The first island is Lombok, this island is blessed with deserted white sand beaches, transparent waters, and beautiful coral reefs. The Gilis has become the major destination that has attracted thousands of visitors every year. Lombok also offers the most exhilarating experience of climbing the mighty Rinjani Volcano.

Sumbawa is has two surf camps which perfect for the wave – seekers from all over the world. Here, during festivals, you may also Sumbawan fighting, a sort of bare – fisted boxing called berempah and also horse and water buffalo races.

One of the biggest tourist attraction in east Nusa Tenggara is the komodo dragons – the biggest lizard on earth – in Pulau Komodo and Pulau Rinca. Not only seeing the komodo dragon, these two islands and surround has a beautiful and said the most completed underwater life. Other than the lizards, Flores has three water – filled craters of Kelimutu, provide an almost surreal sight, as minerals have tinted each of the lakes a different hue. On the south coast of Lembata, you can see the men of the lamarea Village hunt whales using nothing more than spears, wooden boats, and a prayer to their ancestors.

Sumba has the most spectacular ceremony called Pasola, a ritual fight with spears featuring hundreds of horsemen, which held in the second and third full moons of the solar year.

West Timor has a great reputation for its sandalwood and colorful ikat. Next to it, there is a remote island called Rote which offers some interesting indigenous cultures, a few beautiful coastal villages, and some Nusa Tenggara’s best surf.
